It’s a nice time of the year to come to games. Fans will need a bit of time off from work and family time to come to a game, maybe fans that don’t live locally and coming home for Christmas, I think it’ll be nice. And they been amazing, home and away, they’ve been amazing this season, very understanding of the steps that we’re taking as a club. They’ll be needed over the next few weeks

This message shows how much Brentford values its fans and how important their support will be as the season continues Brentford recently faced a tough challenge in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals where they lost 2-0 to Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.

City’s Rayan Cherki scored in the first half and Savinho added a second goal late in the game to send the home team into the semi-finals. Brentford had battled hard but it was difficult for them to get past City’s strong defence and attack.

Just before the Carabao cup game, Brentford had also suffered a 2-0 Premier League defeat from Tottenham Hotspur at home. From Softfootball’s documentation of the match, Brentford had opportunities but could not score therefore leaving them disappointed with the result.

Despite these setbacks, Keith Andrews highlighted how well fans have supported them both at home and on the road. He reminded everyone that their support and presence is valuable and can help lift the players in tough matches.

Clearly, the club needs the passion and noise from supporters to boost morale, especially when results don’t go the team’s way. With league matches ahead, the team are counting on the strong fan presence to help them regain confidence and push for better results
