Former Super Eagles captain and Nigerian football icon, Kanu Nwankwo, has sent a heartfelt birthday message to his daughter, Pinky Amara Kanu, as she celebrates her 14th birthday today, 18 January 2026.
Pinky Amara, who was born on 18 January 2012, marked another milestone, and her proud father took to his X (formerly Twitter) handle to share an emotional message alongside a celebratory video.
Kanu wrote:

The post quickly attracted warm reactions from fans, fellow footballers, and well-wishers, many of whom joined the former Arsenal and Inter Milan striker in celebrating his daughter.
