Softfootball understands Juventus FC are now obligated to sign Loïs Openda permanently from RB Leipzig after the automatic buy clause in his loan deal was triggered, according to Fabrizio Romano via his x handle.
Meanwhile, RB Leipzig continue to reshape their squad, with ongoing talks to extend the contract of rising talent Yan Diomandé, while Castello Lukeba is expected to leave, with the club open to offers below his €80 million release clause.

Romano posted:
The obligation to buy for Lois Openda at Juventus has been authomatically activated. €46m package deal for RB Leipzig between loan fee and permanent transfer, plus salary coverage. Juve will still try to find an exit solution for Openda this summer.
The deal, worth around €46 million including loan fees, bonuses, and salary coverage, has been activated following Juventus’ confirmed 10th-place finish in Serie A. The fee will be paid in instalments as agreed in the original terms.

Despite the obligation being triggered, Juventus are already exploring a possible exit solution for Openda this summer, raising uncertainty over his long-term future at the club.
