Juventus are eyeing the possibility of reuniting with former player, Federico Chiesa in the January transfer window, Softfootball reports.
The Italian was a second half substitute at the weekend when Liverpool played out a 2-2 draw against Fulham in the Match-Day 20 of the premier league as planning to retain their title defense keeps looking like an impossible task.
According to football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano via his official X handle, he informs that Juve are keen but its early days in the negotiations. He wrote:

Juventus made formal contact to show interest in Federico Chiesa over possible return in January. Juve are looking to add +1 winger this month and Chiesa is appreciated. Decision up to Liverpool and the player, still early stages.
Liverpool recently re-added Federico Chiesa to their UEFA Champions League squad following the injury to fellow Italian Giovanni Leoni. He is a winger, comfortable on both flanks, with a right-footed preference. Injuries have slowed him down at Anfield and he has often said he wants to fight for his place in England.

Chiesa joined Liverpool in August 2024 for a fee of £12.5m. He Chiesa brings significant talent and experience from Serie A and international football to Liverpool, offering flair and attacking versatility, and is expected to become a significant contributor as he fully regains fitness and confidence at Anfield.
