Inter Milan has confirmed the signing of Ange-Yoan Bonny from Parma, bringing an end to a transfer saga that nearly saw Stuttgart hijack the deal. The deal, worth 24 million euros plus add-ons, will reunite the French star with his former coach Christian Chivu, under whom he played at Parma last season.
Softfootball gathered, The France U21 international becomes the 26th French player to join the Nerazzurri, arriving after a breakout campaign with Parma in Serie A. He featured in 37 league games during the 2024–25 season, netting 6 goals.

Bonny’s development at Parma earned him plaudits as one of the most promising young forwards in the league. His form also saw him reunite with Cristian Chivu, now Inter’s head coach, under whom he previously played during a youth spell in Parma’s developmental ranks.
Before his move to Italy, Bonny began his senior career with Ligue 2 side Châteauroux in France, where he made 13 appearances and scored once during the 2020–21 campaign. A transfer to Parma followed in 2021, where he gradually progressed, making over 90 appearances across all competitions and scoring 14 goals during his time with the club.
Inter confirmed the signing in a statement on their official website, welcoming the forward to San Siro as they begin preparations for the new season.
The Italian club shared on their official page:
A new chapter begins in Ange-Yoan Bonny’s journey, now written in the colours of the Nerazzurri.
With their Club World Cup disappointment now behind them, the Nerazzurri will look to Bonny to strengthen their attacking depth as they aim to reclaim the Scudetto after narrowly missing out to Napoli in 2024–25.
Softfootball previously reported that former Inter coach, Simone Inzaghi, wants one of the Serie A side key stars at Al-Hilal ahead of the next football season. The Turkish international is currently under contract with Inter until the summer of 2027 but he also wanted out after his recent fights with club captain Lautaro Martinez.
According to calciomercato, Calhanoglu whose current contract runs until the summer of 2027, reportedly earns a salary of €6.5m per season which is the second-highest in the Nerazzurri camp only behind the aforementioned Lautaro.
