Arsenal legend Ian Wright has expressed his admiration for Nottingham Forest defender Ola Aina, praising the Nigerian’s energy and pace following his impressive performances this season.
Wright’s comments come on the back of a standout campaign for Aina, who has become a key figure for Forest as they push for a strong finish in the Premier League.

Softfootball understands the former Arsenal striker reflected on Aina’s development while speaking to Nottingham Forest News. He said:
I’m going to go with Ola Aina at Forest. I remember watching him at the youth team at Chelsea, he was one of those great youth team players they had with Chalobah and Dominic Solanke. He seems to still play with the same vibrance that he had then.
Wright went on to highlight the defender’s versatility as one of the standout qualities that continues to impress him. He added:
He’s got great energy and lots of pace, he’s left-footed and right-footed, so I’m going to say him. I get good vibes off of him.
