“I Can’t Rate João Pedro Goals” UTDTrey Sparks Online Debate

2 Min Read

João Pedro is quietly becoming one of Chelsea’s most important players right now, even if not everyone is ready to give him his flowers. After the Blues’ 3–1 win over Crystal Palace, the Brazilian summed it up simply, saying it was “a really good win” and that the team worked hard for the three points.

He also pointed out how scoring early in the second half helped Chelsea control the game and stop Palace from settling back into their rhythm.Despite his growing influence, not everyone is convinced.

Popular football personality UTDTrey took to their official X handle to say;

“i can never rate this Joao Pedro brother no matter how many goals he scores.”

Ironically, João Pedro keeps doing exactly that scoring goals and deciding games once again spoiling what fans jokingly call his “hate watch.”

His manager, Liam Rosenior, couldn’t be more impressed. Rosenior has praised João Pedro’s intensity, work rate, and mentality, especially after his brace in Chelsea’s dramatic 3–2 Champions League win over Napoli.

Softfootball reported that The Chelsea boss believes that if the Brazilian keeps this level up, he has what it takes to become one of the best strikers in world football.

Off the pitch, Chelsea are also dealing with a few concerns. Marc Cucurella is currently waiting on scan results after picking up a hamstring issue against Leeds, with early hopes that he could return within a few weeks. Still, the mood around the club is positive, largely because João Pedro is delivering when it matters most.

Since arriving from Brighton in the summer of 2025 for around £60 million, João Pedro has stepped up as Chelsea’s main goal threat.

He already has 10 Premier League goals and 4 assists this season, making him the club’s top scorer under Rosenior. Love him or doubt him, his performances are starting to speak very loudly.
