Former Manchester United player Paul Pogba has expressed his reaction over Marcus Rashford’s move to Barcelona, Softfootball can report.
Marcus Rashford’s imminent switch to Barcelona has sparked a wave of reaction, with Pogba becoming the latest former Manchester United player to weigh in on the situation.

Speaking to YouTube star IShowSpeed in an interview for beIN Sports, the AS Monaco midfielder expressed support for his former international teammate. Pogba said that he’s happy for his former teammate.
“That’s crazy, but I’m happy for him because they took his number. Manchester United are losing a great player. Unlucky for them.”

With the deal in its final stages, Rashford touched down in Spain on Sunday night to wrap up formalities ahead of his switch to the Camp Nou. The transfer, initially structured as a loan with an option to buy, will mark a fresh start for the 27-year-old following a turbulent season at United.
Pogba, who played alongside Rashford for both club and country, believes the move benefits all parties involved. He concluded that the move was a great one for Rashford.
“It’s great for Barcelona, to be honest.”
The England international is expected to undergo medical tests this week before being unveiled as one of Hansi Flick’s key additions for the new La Liga season.
Rashford spent the second half of last season on loan at Aston Villa, scoring four goals in 17 games before a hamstring injury cut his campaign short.
Despite returning to United training earlier this month, the academy graduate was not reintegrated into Amorim’s squad and is now expected to complete what many view as a career-reset move to Spain.
With the option to buy a deal from Barcelona, Rashford will be waving off from United after a year’s senior stint at United, where he made 426 appearances and scored 138 goals since debuting in 2015.
