Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe has called on the club’s supporters to create an electric atmosphere when the Magpies face Arsenal in the second leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final.
Newcastle hold a 2-0 advantage from the first leg at the Emirates Stadium and are now aiming to complete the job at St James’ Park.
According to Softfootball, Howe believes the relationship between the Newcastle players and their supporters could prove crucial in a high-pressure semi-final.
Howe wants his players to remain focused despite their recent defeat to Fulham and believes the home crowd could provide a major boost.
Speaking ahead of the encounter, the Newcastle boss said his team had quickly moved on from the disappointing league result and were now fully focused on reaching the final.

The Newcastle manager also called on the fans to bring their energy to the stadium and help the team maintain its advantage against an Arsenal side expected to fight back strongly.
