Turkish giants, Galatasaray are not in the running for the services of Juventus midfielder, Teun Koopmeiners in this January transfer window, Softfootball reports.
Galatasaray recently thrashed Trabzonspor 4-1 to secure Turkish Super Cup final spot but keen to beef up their midfield as they chase to retain their league title this season after their double winning campaign last season.

According to football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano via his official X handle, the player is not currently open for a move out of Turin. He wrote:
Galatasaray are not working on deal for Teun Koopmeiners despite reports. No negotiations + midfielder not actively looking for a move, fully focused on Juventus.
If Teun Koopmeiners changes his mind and wants a move in January, Juventus are already preparing a move for Federico Chiesa from Liverpool. The European Championship winner with Italy is currently not having enough playing time at Anfield but still highly rated in Italy and the Old Lady’s would love to reunite with the player.

Koopmeiners joined Juventus from Atalanta in 2024 for a reported fee of €51.3 million on a five-year contract until June 30, 2029. The 27-year-old, Dutch midfielder operates as a high-positioned midfielder and focusing on breaking up play and rapid ball movement. He is highly valued for his work rate and versatility.
Juventus will return to Serie A action on Monday night when they face 13th placed Cremonese at the Allianz stadium in Turin.
