Chelsea legend, Petr Cech will see his 16 year old son, Damian Cech play for Chelsea’s rivals, Fulham next season. Softfootball was notified that the Czech Republic former international wanted his son to sign for Chelsea but Fulham’s offer was more lucrative.

Cech, who won four Premier League titles and one Champions League with Chelsea during 11 seasons with the Blues also played for city rivals, Arsenal and his son has taken the part to play for city rivals as well apart from following his dad’s football steps.

The Sun reported that the 16 year old Damian is also a goalkeeper and had played at Chelsea’s famous academy even playing alongside Thiago Silva’s son Isago da Silva. Cech is already becoming a star like his dad. He is playing for the Czech Republic Under-18s, where he made his debut August last year at just 15.

Announcing his first professional contract, Damian posted on his Instagram page alongside a picture of him accompanied by his parents.

Meanwhile Cech’s daughter, Adela, a 17 year old, also took her father’s steps by concentrating on football as a career. The young Cech already made her debut for Czech Republic’s Under-17 national team while also playing for Fulham as a defender. Both Children will be looking to emulate and replicate their dad’s football glory.

Fulham have not only caged Cech’s children in their fold, the Cottagers had earlier also snapped up Jose Mourinho Jr, a goalkeeper, on a two-year scholarship deal. The club is looking to build an academy where stars are made.

For the senior team, Fulham are working tirelessly to add some signatures to their team ahead of the new season. The Cottagers, as revealed by Softfootball, are looking to move fast in the transfer window after sealing a contract extension for Kenny Tete who was on the verge of leaving the club for free.

Fulham are pushing hard in the transfer window after teenage sensation Callum Osmond rejected their offer by joining Scottish champions, Celtic. It is gathered, that the Cottagers had hoped that Osmond, who scored 18 goals last season for Fulham’s U21, would accept their offer.

The team has now added more names on the list as the Sun reports that they are looking to battle Manchester United for Nigerian striker Tolu Arokodare who finished as Belgian league top scorer with Genk last season.
