Joy at Craven Cottage as Fulham celebrate the duo of Calvin Bassey and Alex Iwobi for helping Nigeria reach the semi-final of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), Softfootball reports.

The Super Eagles outclassed Algeria 2-0 inside the Grand Stade de Marrakech courtesy goals from Galatasaray striker, Victor Osimhen and Sevilla’s forward, Adams Akor to the delight of the Nigerian supporters across the world.

Fulham joined in on the celebrations with Nigeria as they have done throughout following the 35th Africa Cup of Nations finals in Morocco via their official X handle.  They posted:

Our Super Eagles are into the Semi-Finals! 🦅 #Naija4TheWin #AFCON.

Chukwueze, who joined Fulham on transfer deadline day from AC Milan on a season long loan with an option to buy was an unused substitute for the Nigerian side, who cruised through the encounter against Algeria with ease.

Nigeria will face hosts Morocco in the semi-final of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON)  at the Crown Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat on Wednesday.
