Looking ahead to Sunday’s Emirates FA Cup quarter-final clash with West Ham United, Leeds United manager Daniel Farke is bracing for another tough encounter as his side aims to reach the semi-finals as reported during the press conference via their youtube channel.
Following solid defensive displays against Brentford and Crystal Palace, the Whites are eager to carry their momentum into this historic cup run.
Speaking at Thorp Arch, Farke emphasized his commitment to fielding a strong starting lineup while managing player fitness.
I am a big believer in the cup competitions, and it’s the first time in over two decades we’ve reached the FA Cup quarter-finals. The players want to play a strong lineup without taking unnecessary risks. West Ham are also in the relegation battle, but with their Premier League experience, they’ll be a formidable opponent,
he noted.
The manager underlined the importance of the occasion for both players and fans.
We’re honoured to be here and want to prepare in the best possible way. It’s always tricky after a break, but we’ll go strong and take the opportunity to make it into the semi-final seriously,
Farke added.
