Endrick Says Football Isn’t a Nice Career, Sparks Debate

Softfootball is shocked about Endrick making this statement, as football is widely seen as one of the best careers in the world. Many people look at the money, but beyond that, players have the opportunity to entertain fans, bring joy, and build global recognition, with millions wanting to associate with them.

Endrick has said that football is not a nice career to have, adding,

I hope my son becomes a doctor, lawyer or something else.

On the other hand, Endrick could be referring to the pressure that comes with the game. When a player performs well, they are praised, but when they don’t, criticism follows heavily. However, this is part of every profession at the highest level, and managing pressure is something every top individual must deal with.

Some days will be good, others bad, but that is part of the journey. Football remains one of the most rewarding careers, both financially and in terms of global influence, something very few professions can match.

So if Endrick hopes his child becomes a doctor, does it mean players like Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, who guide their children toward football, are wrong? That question is now part of a wider debate among fans.
