Eduardo Camavinga has been left out of France national football team’s squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup after Didier Deschamps finalized his 25-man list released today.

Softfootball gathered Deschamps on leaving Camavinga out said:

He’s coming off a difficult season where he didn’t play much because of several injuries. He’s still young. I have choices to make and I need balance in my squad. But I can imagine his disappointment tonight.

A huge blow for the Real Madrid midfielder.

Areola, Chevalier, Lloris.

Defenders

Badé, Boey, Disasi, Fofana, Kalulu, Lukeba, Ferland Mendy (injured), Mukiele, Pavard, Todibo and Leny Yoro.

Camavinga, Youssouf Fofana, Guendouzi, Mayulu, Thuram and Tolisso.

Forwards

Benzema, Coman, Édouard, Ekitike (injured), Giroud, Griezmann, Kroupi Jr., Kolo Muani, Nkunku and Mathys Tel.

France are leaving out some massive talents and experienced stars ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup in America.
