Chelsea booked their place in the Europa Conference League final after a controlled 1–0 victory over Djurgården in the second leg at Stamford Bridge, sealing a dominant 5–1 win on aggregate, Softfootball reports.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall delivered the decisive moment in the 38th minute, finishing calmly after a clever assist from Tyrique George. The goal capped a first half in which Chelsea dictated possession and tempo, leaving the Swedish side chasing shadows.
Djurgården battled gamely but struggled to create clear chances, registering only three shots on target. Chelsea, meanwhile, managed the game with maturity, cycling through possession and keeping their opponents at bay.
Enzo Maresca’s side made several second-half substitutions to maintain control, while Trevoh Chalobah, Genesis Antwi, and Shim Mheuka all featured from the bench. Despite Djurgården’s late changes, the visitors couldn’t find a response.
With the win, Chelsea advance to the final and will look to cap their European campaign with silverware after an impressive semi-final performance.
