Liverpool’s recent form has been driven by resilience and timely quality, something highlighted by Florian Wirtz’s first goal for the club, a moment that drew praise from Arne Slot and was described as a major positive by SoftFootball following the win over Wolves.

Bradley explained in a post shared by the club’s official X account that the mood around the team reflects a side beginning to click again after a demanding period. He stressed that momentum is important, but performances must keep evolving.

Summing up Liverpool’s mindset ahead of the next challenge, he said in full:

It feels like we’re in a really good moment at the minute. Obviously we’ve had some really good results recently, so we’ve just got to keep that up. We’ve got another tough game coming up now with Leeds. We’ve just got to keep trying to build this momentum and keep it going. I think we’ve had some really good results recently, but I think the performances can definitely still get better. That’s something we’ve got to strive to do, and hopefully we can do that in the upcoming games.

His comments echo Virgil van Dijk’s view that Liverpool are learning to grind out results when needed. Attention now turns to Leeds United, who visit Anfield on New Year’s Day. Bradley made it clear that the Reds have not forgotten the chaotic 3-3 draw at Elland Road earlier in the season.

Explaining why Liverpool expect another tough test, he said:

Leeds are a really good team – we found that out a few weeks ago when we went to Elland Road. We know it’s going to be a difficult game but we’re really looking forward to it.

Bradley also reflected on his own contribution against Wolves, where he produced a decisive late tackle to protect the lead. After overcoming a knock to feature off the bench, he highlighted both his fitness and the importance of the moment.

He said:

I’m feeling good, I’m feeling fit and I’m feeling ready. I’m really looking forward to the game. Obviously it was a big tackle against Wolves because they were on top of us for probably the last 25 minutes. It was a really important win and I’m just happy I could help.

The Northern Ireland international reserved special praise for Florian Wirtz, whose goal and overall influence continue to grow.

Explaining what makes the German so valuable, Bradley said:

I was buzzing for him. Obviously he’s had to wait a little bit of time for it, but I was so happy for him. He’s such a terrific player. We see it in training every day, how good he is with the ball. You’d rather have him on your team than not on your team, put it that way. He’s terrific to have.

In all, Bradley’s words reflect a Liverpool side that is confident but not complacent. With momentum building, key players finding form, and lessons learnt from recent setbacks, the focus now is on delivering more complete performances. As Leeds arrive at Anfield, the Reds know the challenge ahead, but belief within the squad suggests they are ready to keep pushing forward.
