He had been out of action since September after he sustained a groin injury and just when he was expected to return, he fractured his little toe in a small accident at home. Now, Palmer is back, training with his team and feeling good as well.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed the Coach’s words on his verified X handle;

Enzo Maresca: “Palmer is back and he’s probably our best player. We are happy he’s back”.

“Now we need to give him time to be 100% match fit”.

The statement made by the head coach shows that his creativity on the pitch has undoubtedly been missed during his absence and his return is about to add the boost and energy his club needs in their upcoming matches.

His return comes just at the perfect time because of the upcoming home match against Arsenal. Palmer is considered to be one of Chelsea’s best players and Enzo Maresca even compared his ability to that of City’s Haaland and Liverpool’s Salah.

Like in a match as big as Chelsea Vs Arsenal, having Palmer available again may make a huge difference and he could be under the spotlight as he tries to rediscover his form quickly and help the team reach vital goals.

Chelsea will still manage him carefully to avoid rushing him into full intensity too quickly.
