Christopher Nkunku is reportedly ready to leave Chelsea this summer despite being contracted to the Premier League club until 2029. There appears to be no way back for the Frenchman at Stamford Bridge as talks about his impending exit continues.
The Blues have been active in the summer transfer market once again with the notable signings of forwards Liam Delap, Joao Pedro and Jamie Gittens.
Softfootball reported on Sunday that Chelsea also announced the signing of Jorrel Hato from Ajax, and are still hoping to welcome Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig.
As the former RB Leipzig attacking midfielder nears the exit door in West London, talks are ongoing with clubs interested in recruiting the 27-year-old. Nkunku is attracting the interest of several clubs on the continent including Bayern Munich and Arsenal.
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano reports via his verified X handle that the Frenchman remains set on leaving Chelsea this summer, with negotiations still in progress. Meanwhile, Nico Jackson could also depart before the window closes if a significant offer arrives.
His tweet reads:

Nkunku has struggled to settle in with the Blues. From failing to find a position which enables hims to showcase his qualities to struggling with injuries, He will be hoping to start a new chapter elsewhere if any of the suitors comes forward with a proposal that matches Chelsea’s valuation.
The club World Cup Champions have already said goodbye to Guehi and Broja and Next in line for possible exits are Tyreke George and Raheem Sterling. Last season, Christopher Nkunku scored 14 goals and provided 5 assists in 42 appearances.
