The victory marks the first Women’s FA Cup final appearance in Brighton’s history. The Nigeria women’s national football team goalkeeper made two important saves during the game and remained calm under pressure as Brighton fought back brilliantly to secure the historic win.
Another strong performance from Nigeria’s number one goalkeeper and one of Africa’s finest. Since joining Brighton in the summer, Nnadozie has brought confidence, composure, and quality to the team’s defence, helping the club become far more competitive this season through her consistency and leadership at the back.
Brighton will now face Manchester City Women FC in the Women’s FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, May 31.
Softfootball believes this is another massive achievement for Chiamaka Nnadozie, who continues to grow into one of the best goalkeepers in women’s football globally.
