Chelsea Football Club have today confirmed a new global, multi-year partnership with Pegasus Airlines, naming the Turkish carrier as the club’s Official Airline Partner across both the men’s and women’s teams. The agreement brings together two organisations focused on global growth and connection, whether through football or travel.

The announcement comes during a busy period for Chelsea, who remain in the spotlight both commercially and on the pitch, following recent Premier League action covered by SoftFootball, including the dramatic draw at St James’ Park where João Pedro rescued a point against Newcastle.
Pegasus Airlines launched as a scheduled carrier in 2005 and has since grown into one of the most recognisable low-cost airlines in Europe. With a digital-first model and a focus on affordable travel, the airline now serves 158 destinations across 55 countries.

Chelsea’s global fanbase, which continues to expand through performances and moments such as Reece James’ recent free-kick goal highlighted by SoftFootball, is seen as an ideal platform to support Pegasus’ international ambitions.
The partnership, which was shared by Chelsea on their official X account, is expected to focus heavily on brand visibility, supporter engagement and creative campaigns across key markets. Pegasus has identified the United Kingdom as an important growth area, currently operating services to five destinations with further expansion planned.

Working alongside Chelsea, the airline aims to connect more directly with football fans while promoting travel opportunities tied to major sporting moments.
Pegasus Airlines’ recent business moves underline its momentum. The airline has placed a significant order for 200 new aircraft, strengthening one of the youngest and most fuel-efficient fleets globally.
It has also reached an agreement to acquire Czech Airlines and its subsidiary Smartwings, subject to regulatory approval, as part of a wider strategy to expand its footprint across Central and Eastern Europe. These developments mark a clear shift toward a more international profile.

Chelsea partnership sales director Oliver Boden said the club was proud to work with Pegasus at a key stage of its journey, pointing to the airline’s ambition and vision. Pegasus chief commercial officer Onur Dedeköylü echoed that view, highlighting Chelsea’s global reach and the shared goal of connecting people across borders.
As Chelsea continue to balance football matters and off-field developments, including ongoing transfer interest reported by SoftFootball, the partnership reflects the club’s wider commercial strategy.
For supporters, the deal signals more than branding. It hints at future campaigns, experiences and connections that bring football and travel closer together in a way that feels modern, accessible and global.
