The Blues wasted no time asserting themselves, with Dominic Solanke opening the scoring in the 5th minute. Tottenham responded swiftly, as Dejan Kulusevski leveled for the hosts in the 11th minute. Chelsea regained the lead through Jadon Sancho’s precise strike in the 17th minute, setting the tone for an end-to-end contest.

Cole Palmer’s composure from the penalty spot proved decisive, as he converted twice—first in the 61st minute and then again in the 84th—to give Chelsea breathing room. Enzo Fernández added a spectacular strike in the 73rd minute, showcasing Chelsea’s fluid attacking play. Tottenham’s Son Heung-min scored a last-gasp goal in stoppage time (90+7’) to keep fans on the edge of their seats, but it wasn’t enough to prevent the Blues from claiming all three points.
