For Soler, it’s been a frustrating run in Paris. He hasn’t nailed down a starting role under Luis Enrique, and, at 28, the midfielder doesn’t want to spend another season on loan after his spell with West Ham, especially with Paris Saint-Germain making it crystal clear to Real Madrid that Vitinha is indispensable.
Real Sociedad have made it clear they want him, and by all accounts, he’s more than open to the switch.
Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano posted the update on his official X handle revealing that Real Sociedad is a concrete option and the move might be accelerated by all parties.

Softfootball understands that there’s a catch. Soler’s wages and contract length in Paris remain the main headache. Sociedad are not a club that splashes cash recklessly, so they’ll need a clever arrangement, maybe a loan with an option to buy or PSG agreeing to cover part of his salary.
Still, it feels like momentum is building. Soler returning to La Liga three years after leaving Valencia would be a nice twist. And for Sociedad, chasing another Champions League push, adding his creativity in midfield could be exactly what they need.
