Bryan Mbeumo joined his new teammates at Manchester United in training for the very first time today as the team prepare for their US preseason tour. Softfootball understands that United will play West Ham United, Everton and Bournemouth in the US Premier League summer series starting this weekend.
Mbeumo joined United from Brentford after long weeks of negotiations that eventually resulted in a 71m exchange between both clubs for the Cameroonian. Mbeumo signed a 5 year deal with United with an option to extend for another 12 months.

The who attacker had earlier explained how Amorim influenced his decision to choose United was welcomed by his new teammates in the usual tradition of welcoming or congratulating footballers by a team.
United posted Mbeumo’s first day at their training center on their verified X handle as he was seen all smiles in the video. The video is as seen below.
Mbeumo had been Brentford’s best player last season while having one of his most productive times in English football as he scored 20 goals and made 7 assists for the Bees.
He is also deemed to e one of the best attackers in the league having averaged 18 goal contributions per campaign since winning promotion with Brentford to the top-flight. He hit a peak last year as he scored nearly one-third of all Brentford’s league goal.
With his participation in today’s training, it is almost certain the Cameroonian will make his debut for United on Sunday as they face West Ham United in the United States. Amorim’s team had played a goalless draw in their first preseason game of the summer with newly promoted side, Leeds United.
The draw had seen United fans raging on social media about how the team will perform in the coming season but with the arrival of their long aimed target, Mbeumo, they will now wait to see how the team performs on Sunday.
