The club confirmed this injury on their official X handle, saying:

Fábio Carvalho is to undergo surgery after sustaining an ACL injury and will miss the rest of the season

We will all be with you every step of the way, Fábio

Carvalho joined Brentford from Liverpool in 2024. Since then, he has made 33 appearances for the Bees in all competitions.

Softfootball reported his remarkable performance in the Premier League match against Chelsea, where he scored a last-minute equaliser to secure a 2–2 draw. The club pledged full support to him during this challenging period.

The recovery process after an ACL surgery sometimes takes a long period of time and Brentford even confirmed that Carvalho’s season is now over.

Though the news comes with a challenge for the player and the team, with due rehabilitation, Carvalho will return stronger and ready for more competitive matches.
