AFC Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo has declared that his side deserved the 1-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur in the match-day 3 of the Premier League, Softfootball reports
Evanilson gave the Cherries an early lead after just five minutes into the encounter and they brilliantly dominated the game. It was a masterful performance by Andoni Iraola’s men at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Bournemouth had 19 shots and defended well against Spurs, not allowing them back into the match. Even the home fans began to boo their players.
Speaking to Bournemouth’s official club media, Semenyo hails his teammate for a great game and gave details of happened in the dressing room at half-time.
Semenyo revealed:
“Well we played really well first half. It was a top performance but we all said at half-time we have to be at our best to make sure we do it again in the second half.
“It’s never easy to keep Spurs quiet as they’re a top team, but we kept the ball well and did everything right.
“We stuck together in touch moments and got a really good three points.
“We’d trained really well all week, we got the press right and those little details right and we all showed it on the pitch, props to the boys!
“It was a really top performance and I enjoyed the game. I had a tough battle with pedro Porro and I want to prove myself against the best in the league.
“But the team deserve the three points, showed great character and it’s a great win ahead of the international break.”
Semenyo has scored two goals in three Premier League matches this season and will be looking to add to his tally after the international break.
