Manchester United new signing Benjamin Šeško has vowed to help the club return to its old glory days, Softfootball football reports.
The 22-year-old who joined the Red Devils from Bundesliga side, RB Leipzig has resumed training with Ruben Amorim’s men and he is raring to go after watching his new teammates battle to a penalty win against Fiorentina in their final pre-season match on Saturday.

During his first ever interview with Manchester United’s official club media, the Slovenian was asked about his ambitions.
He replied:
“Just that we get better, that we connect together, in general, and we, as a team, just try to grow, to grow together step by step because we’re getting better.
“We’re just even more complete and complete. It’s just a matter of time when we can fly high again.”
On why he picked Manchester United as his next club despite better bids from other clubs, notably Newcastle United.
He said:
“I think, first of all, because of the club,” he said. “It’s just a historical club that is unbelievable.
“For me, the team is great. It is getting better and better and that’s why also there is just stuff that makes you come there, gives you this energy that you want to be part of.
“I think it’s a great project, in general, and I can’t wait to start, definitely.
“I’ve just been here for a couple of hours,” he continued. “And it’s already been amazing. I can already feel that we’re going to be a great family and it is a pleasure to be part of it.
“It feels good, you know, the thing is it [the badge] fits well and I’m looking forward to just playing in it a lot and try to represent in the good ways possible.”

Meanwhile, the 6ft 5in Šeško has revealed that he is a fan of basketball and loves shooting hoops in his spare time.
He said:
“I play a lot of basketball, especially in the days off and stuff, if I really have time.
“Of course, I’m not sweating a lot because you just have to do regeneration, but if there’s an opportunity that I can take, I’ll play basketball.
“I love to do it. It’s just been also a passion of mine since the youth. When I was off the football, there was basketball.
“So yeah, I like to do that and I’m enjoying it and it’s like it relaxes me.”
Manchester United begin their quest for a better finish this season after placing 15th last term as they get ready to face Arsenal in their opening fixture on August 17.
