Barcelona president, Joan Laporta has claimed that he is not worried about the lifestyle of Spain superstar, Lamine Yamal despite his recent injuries, Softfootball understands.
The 18-year-old has often been described as heir to Lionel Messi because of his playing style and confidence but Yamal does not want the comparisons with the great Argentine as he believes that they are different players and wants to creates his own history.

Fabrizio Romano shared an interview via his official X handle where Laporta defended the lifestyle of his player, who threw a lavish party in July when he turned 18 in a secret location. He claims:
Lamine Yamal is enjoying life at 18 and shows remarkable maturity for his age. I’m not worried about his lifestyle. He needs protection and support — from us and from those around him. He’s a true professional who trains hard, told Catalunya Radio.

Yamal missed seven games for club and country earlier this season due to a persistent pubalgia condition, causing chronic pain in the groin area, but has started Barça’s last five matches and scoring in the last three with the last one coming during Barcelona’s 4-2 win over Celta Vigo just before the international break.
Barcelona are hoping to defend their LaLiga crown this season and Lamine Yamal is a huge part of Hansi Flick’s side. They are currently second on the table with 28 points, three adrift league leaders Read Madrid after 12 matches.
