FC Barcelona produced one of their most dominant performances of the season as they overwhelmed Sevilla 5–1 in a spectacular La Liga encounter on 20 October 2024 at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys.

His second — arriving after a brief VAR check — sealed a remarkable individual cameo as he drove Barcelona further out of reach.
Sevilla, who had been second-best for much of the match, found a consolation goal late on through Stanis Idumbo-Muzambo in the 87th minute. The substitute capitalized on a rare lapse in the Barcelona defense, but it did little to alter the narrative of a match largely dominated by the hosts.
The visitors struggled to find momentum throughout, registering only one shot on target from seven attempts. Their frustrations were evident in the second half, where Djibril Sow and Adrià Pedrosa received bookings as Barcelona continued to dictate play.
