Former Europa League winners, Atalanta are reportedly in talks with former Fiorentina manager, Raffaele Palladino as potential replacement for Ivan Jurić, Softfootball understands.

Jurić’s Atalanta were hammered 3-0 at home by Sassuolo this weekend and under the manager, they’ve become draw specialist. Atalanta drew 1-1 against AC Milan at the end of October courtesy a goal by Ademola Lookman who has since fallen out with the manager.

According to transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano via his official X handle, Atalanta are also certain of getting a new manager. He wrote:

Atalanta are in advanced talks with (former Fiorentina manager) Raffaele Palladino to become the new head coach. Ivan Jurić, on the verge of being sacked.

Before Inter Milan appointed Cristian Chivu as manager, Raffaele Palladino was one of the leading candidates alongside Thiago Motta and Cesc Fabregas as potential replacements for Simone Inzaghi, who had left for Al-Hilal.

However, Inter signed Cristian Chivu as manager on a two-year contract in June 9, 2025. Palladino was former Fiorentina manager. He left the club by mutual consent after just one season.

Atalanta’s first UEFA Champions League match under Ivan Jurić ended in a disaster as Paris Saint-Germain hammered Atalanta 4-0 at the Parc des Princes.

Atalanta are currently in 13th with just 13 points after 11 matches so far in the Serie A and it won’t be a surprise if they have another manager after the November international break.
