Super Falcons defender Ashleigh Plumptre has issued an important warning to fans, revealing that she is not active on Facebook and that several fake accounts have been using her name to deceive people with false promises of money and giveaways.

Plumptre urged supporters to stay alert and report any impersonators, stressing that scammers are targeting innocent fans by pretending to be her.

Speaking to the media, she clarified that while she technically has a personal Facebook account, she does not use it at all. She emphasised that the only platform where she is active is Instagram, and anyone who wants to follow her should do so exclusively on Instagram to avoid falling victim to fraud.
