Arsenal Coach Mikel Arteta has shared his thoughts ahead of the EPL’s early kick-off between Arsenal and newly coached Nottingham Forest at the Emirates.
Softfootball understands that Arteta, who had just welcomed a couple of his players, like Noni Madueke, new signing Pino Hincapie, and Mikel Merino, who had a super run with Spain, scoring a total of four goals, including a hattrick against Turkey, to the team after a 10-day international break, has said that his boys are fully aware of facing the common goal on the ground for the team.

As revealed on Arsenal’s official X handle this evening, Arteta told the press of the uniqueness Saturday’s game stands to offer their fans at the Emirates. Here is the snippet of the video as shared on X:

Quoting the video, Arteta said:
That’s what we want, we had a very good game against Leeds, and it’s going to be a different game against Forest for sure. But a 12:30 kickoff in front of our people after 10 days, we are pretty looking forward to it.
Meanwhile, Arsenal, who had an electrifying home start this season, recorded a five-goal thriller win over Leeds, where players like Bukayo Saka and new signing Viktor Gyokeres also recorded their debut goals for the club.
Arteta, while also speaking about facing Ange Postecoglou, the new Nottingham Forest manager, emphasised that his team will stick to the basics and aim for the best result. Arteta has never lost to the Greek-born gaffer in their last four meetings.
He added:
Before the game, yes, but the moment the game starts, after five minutes, we will see very clear behaviours, what they want to do, and that’s what we have prepared.
Arsenal, therefore, will be eyeing to return to winning ways after their lone-goal stumble from Liverpool and also maintain their perfect home record.
