Mikel Arteta has given an update on Leandro Trossard’s fitness ahead of their big Premier League match against Chelsea, Softfootball reports. According to the Arsenal head coach, Trossard’s injury isn’t a strong one.

Leandro Trossard had picked up a strain that forced him to leave the pitch during the first half of Arsenal’s Champions League match against Bayern Munich. But this update came early and there is every reason to be optimistic about him playing with his squad against Chelsea.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano echoed the Coach’s words on his official X handle;
Arteta: “Trossard’s injury doesn’t look like a long/serious one”.
“There is another test today. We have to see how he’s feeling. There is potential chance to be available for Chelsea”.
His presence has been a good boost for Arsenal as he has never stopped contributing goals and leading his squad to the top. Leandro Trossard had been the one to score the goal against Fulham which took Arsenal back to the top of the Premier League table

He had also been the one to score the first goal that gave Arsenal the lead in the Premier League match against Tottenham Hotspur where they ended up scoring 3 more goals that gave them victory.
There’s still another test to confirm how fully ready Trossard would be for the match, this is one step to make sure that they are not taking a huge risk by sending him back to the pitch.
It is only a fit player who can give his full potential to his club generously.
