Arsenal are on the verge of completing the signing of Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace. The midfielder was not listed in Crystal Palace’s squad tonight following direct contact with Manager Oliver Glasner earlier today.
Eze has agreed on personal terms with the Arsenal on a £60M deal. This comes shortly after the Gunners hijacked Tottenham’s pursuit of the midfielder. Sofftfootball had earlier reported that Spurs agreed terms with Crystal Palace on a fee worth around his expired £68m release clause but Arsenal hijacked the deal.

Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano via his official X handle confirmed that Arsenal have already scheduled medical for Eze. He said:
“Eberechi Eze will not play for Crystal Palace tonight.
“Decision follows direct contact between Eze and Oliver Glasner today.
“Arsenal have already booked medical for Eze ahead of £60m deal set to be sealed.”
This deal marks a boost for the Arsenal’s squad, as Head Coach Mikel Arteta sees Eze as a versatile player in attack that can play in both the midfield and also the flanks.
Last season, Eze scored 14 goals across all competitions and helped Crystal Palace reach their first major trophy, where the scored the winning goal to defeat Manchester City 1-0 in the FA Cup Final.
Eze has been one of Crystal Palace’s standout performers. Now, he is set to join Arsenal to help strengthen their squad as they prepare for another Premier League title challenge.
