Arsenal will look to end their pre-season on a high when they welcome Borussia Dortmund to the Emirates Stadium for Sunday’s Emirates Cup clash.
Mikel Arteta’s side have dominated the competition in recent years, winning each of the last four editions and securing their ninth title in 2025 after beating Athletic Bilbao 3-0. Another victory would see the Gunners reach double figures for Emirates Cup triumphs.
However, Premier League champions for the 2025/26 season head into the fixture looking to respond after suffering a surprise 3-1 defeat to Real Betis in their most recent friendly.

Dortmund have also experienced an inconsistent summer, recording two wins and two defeats from their four friendly matches. Niko Kovac’s side began with a comeback victory over Rot-Weiss Oberhausen before losing to Fortuna Dusseldorf.
The German side will see Sunday’s contest as another important test before their final friendly against Roma and the upcoming Franz Beckenbauer Supercup clash with Bayern Munich.
