Arsenal have reportedly advanced their efforts to sign RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko as they continue their search for attacking reinforcements.

The Slovenia international has emerged as one of Europe’s highly rated young forwards and has attracted strong interest following his performances in Germany. Arsenal are understood to view him as a player capable of adding goals, physical presence and long-term quality to their attack.

Softfootball reports that negotiations for Sesko have moved forward, with Arsenal keen to reach an agreement before rival clubs can make their own approaches. The Gunners have been looking for attacking reinforcements and the striker’s profile fits their recruitment strategy.

Sesko has impressed with his movement, finishing and ability to operate effectively around the penalty area. His height and physical strength also give him an advantage when competing with defenders, while his pace allows him to threaten teams in transition.

The potential move would represent another major step in the striker’s development. Arsenal could provide him with an opportunity to compete for major trophies while playing under Mikel Arteta.

However, a final agreement still depends on negotiations between the clubs and the player’s representatives. Leipzig are expected to seek a significant transfer fee for one of their most valuable assets.
