Arsenal are prepared to add to the signings of Kepa Arrizabalaga and Martin Zubimendi with the pursuit of €90 million star after the Club World Cup (CWC).
Softfootball understands that the Gunners are ready to make Real Madrid’s Rodrygo their marquee signing for this summer in a bid to win the Premier League for the first time since 2004 under Arsene Wenger.

Interestingly, Rodrygo was once a vital asset for the Los Blancos but fell out of favour with former manager, Carlo Ancelotti.
The 24-year-old registered just six goals in LaLiga as Real Madrid finished the campaign trophy-less for the first time in four years, leading to Ancelotti’s exit to take up the Brazil national team job.
According to the Athletic, serious concerns emerged within the clubs hierarchy midway through last season as they questioned Rodrygo’s motivation towards training as they felt the player didn’t put in enough efforts.
However, the father of the Brazilian, who works as his agent, Eric Goes, reportedly voiced frustrations at the situation of his son, claiming his son’s plight is inextricably tied to the dominant presence of Jude Bellingham, Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior.
Those comments were not well received at the club and they resolved to sell Rodrygo this summer with new manager Xabi Alonso already given the deal a greenlight.

Recall, Softfootball earlier reported that Real Madrid want €90 million for Rodrygo and Arsenal are confident of striking a deal just below the fee. The Gunner will have to wait until after the Club World Cup before negotiating a deal for the Brazilian to move to the Emirates.
Rodrygo has scored 67 goals for Real Madrid and 274 matches. He is currently with Real Madrid at the Club World Cup where he has only played 23 minutes since starting the opening game against Saudi Arabian giants Al-Hilal.
