Carlo Ancelotti has expressed calm confidence ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, insisting he is satisfied with the current state of his Brazil national football team squad, Softfootball reports.

France national football team strengthened their status as one of the tournament favourites with a 2–1 victory over Brazil in an international friendly. Kylian Mbappé was the standout performer, scoring a superb chipped goal past Ederson.

In comments confirmed by Fabrizio Romano via his official x handle, Ancelotti said:

I am not anxious for the World Cup. I’m happy, motivated, confident and calm. I think we have a good team structure, we have a good environment, which is working very well. We are calm

Brazil, however, suffered a setback with Raphinha ruled out for four to five weeks due to a muscle injury sustained during the match, dealing a blow to their preparations ahead of the World Cup.
