Al–Nassr have begun their move to bring in Brazilian star, Antony from Manchester United to the Saudi League for next season. Softfootball can confirm that the Saudi Arabian giants have almost completed the transfer of Joao Felix from Chelsea.
Antony had been exiled from Manchester United’s squad since the end of the season having returned from an impressive half season at Real Betis on loan. He was among a list of 5 players that Ruben Amorim asked to leave the club this summer.

The listed players are Tyrell Malacia, Jadon Sancho, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony and Marcus Rashford who has now joined Spanish giants Barcelona on loan with an option to buy him at the end of the coming season for £30m.
With Antony very much available after United’s willingness to sell, Al-Nassr have approached the Red Devils for the winger. Although multiple reports suggest United will ask for something close to £60m.
While negotiations are to begin between the clubs, Brazilian journalist who had reported Manchester United’s interest in Antony back when he was at Ajax had taken to his verified X handle to report Al-Nassr’s interest in Antony.
He wrote:
Understand Al-Nassr have sent a bid to Manchester United for Antony.
Al-Nassr want Antony & João Félix
Softfootball also gathered that Antony is also wanted by Brazilian clubs – Sao Paulo and Botafogo. Real Betis where the winger had played on loan last term were also reportedly interested but are unable to make an offer due to financial problems. He scored 9 in 26 games for Betis.
The Saudi Arabian club had been linked to a number of wingers recently including Arsenal’s Gabriel Martinelli but looks like their eventually pick the United want away and Joao Felix who has arrived at the club to complete his move.
If Antony males the switch to Al-Nassr, he would be playing alongside some former European stars including Cristiano Ronaldo who just signed a new contract with club.
