Olympique Marseille midfielder Adrien Rabiot has publicly invited former Juventus teammate Paul Pogba to join him at the club, following the World Cup winner’s departure from Turin.
Pogba became a free agent after his Juventus contract was terminated, and will be eligible to return to action in March once his revised doping ban comes to an end.
Softfootball reports that Rabiot made the offer while speaking to DAZN, expressing genuine enthusiasm about a potential reunion. He said:
I would like to play with Paul. We had the chance to get to know each other quickly at Juventus, but we didn’t have many opportunities to play together because he had several physical problems.
Rabiot went on to sell the project currently being built at Marseille, insisting the club offers a serious platform for Pogba to relaunch his career. He added:
We invite him to come and play at OM. What we are setting up is really very important. There is real ambition. If he wants to come, we welcome him with great pleasure.
