AC Milan have reportedly rejected an offer from Real Betis for Nigeria international Samuel Chukwueze during the January transfer window.

The Spanish club is interested in signing the winger on loan, but the proposal does not currently meet Milan’s valuation of the player.

According to Softfootball, the Rossoneri are open to allowing Chukwueze leave this month, but only if their conditions are met.

The 25-year-old joined Milan from Spanish side Villarreal two years ago but has struggled to establish himself as a regular starter at the Italian club.

Chukwueze also turned down a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabia last summer as he opted to continue his career in Europe.

The Nigeria international has found playing opportunities limited this season, making 17 league appearances for Sergio Conceicao’s side and scoring once.

With the January transfer window still open, it remains to be seen whether Betis will return with an improved offer that could convince Milan to sanction a temporary move for the winger.
