Barcelona and Spain star Lamine Yamal has opened up about the enormous expectations surrounding his performances, admitting that the standards applied to him can be very different from those placed on other players.
Speaking to The Guardian, Yamal explained that even an excellent individual performance can quickly be judged harshly because of the level he has already established.

he explained.
Despite the pressure, Yamal believes his achievements at international level have already given him a special foundation to build on. The Barcelona winger helped Spain win the European Championship in 2024 before playing a key role in their 2026 World Cup triumph.
