Leeds United fans had no doubts after the final whistle at Stamford Bridge Jayden Bogle was their standout performer.
Supporters voted the right-back as the Hisense Player of the Match following Leeds’ dramatic 2–2 draw with Chelsea on February 10, 2026 as posted by leeds united on their official x handle. Trailing 2–0, Leeds looked down and out, but Bogle’s energy from full-back completely changed the game.

His impact was decisive. In the 67th minute, Bogle burst into the box and was brought down by Moisés Caicedo, winning the penalty that Lukas Nmecha converted to spark the comeback.
Just minutes later, another driving run from Bogle caused panic in the Chelsea defence, creating the chaos that allowed Noah Okafor to tap in the late equaliser. No surprise then that Bogle claimed 57% of the fan vote after directly influencing both goals.
Bogle’s performance also came with strong numbers: he had 43 touches, completed 22 passes, and won four duels across the match a huge return for a full-back playing with attacking freedom.

There was mixed news for Chelsea on the night. Defender Marc Cucurella was forced off with a hamstring issue and is now set to undergo scans.
Head coach Liam Rosenior confirmed the change was injury-related, not tactical, and the Spaniard has already been ruled out of Chelsea’s upcoming FA Cup tie against Hull City. The club are hopeful the problem won’t keep him out long term.
Leeds’ fightback at Stamford Bridge built on growing momentum. Just days earlier, Daniel Farke’s side boosted their survival hopes with a 3–1 win over Nottingham Forest, a result that moved them nine points clear of the relegation zone.
Softfootball reports that victory gave Leeds the belief and platform they needed to pull off another comeback in London.
From scoring against Forest to dominating at Stamford Bridge, Bogle is suddenly becoming one of Leeds’ most important players in the survival run-in.
