Rosenior, who recently praised Cole Palmer after his hat-trick performance in that vital victory, addressed Enzo’s role during his post-match press conference. Softfootball gathered, the win was crucial as Chelsea maintained fifth place and kept their hopes of finishing in the Premier League top four alive.

Speaking in a video posted by Chelsea – Football.London on Facebook, Rosenior explained that Enzo’s positioning has remained consistent throughout the season, even if it appeared different against Wolves. These were his statements;

Enzo is playing in exactly same position he is been playing probaly 80, 90% of the season which is in the left pocket, he plays and actually score more freedom because we are interchanging a little, but more from our system and from our structure, without the boys on the left so that probably why it looks different today because the way wolves played and he has not changed his postion to be honest, it looks that way but his position and posession is the same

Rosenior’s comments suggest the perceived change was more about Chelsea’s tactical structure and Wolves’ approach, rather than any shift in Enzo Fernández’s responsibilities on the pitch.
