Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has revealed that he initiated his friend into eating Amala and he eats the food everytime now, Softfootball reports.
The Nigerian striker is currently preparing for the UEFA Champions League Match-Day 8 fixture between Galatasaray and Manchester City at the Etihad as they try to secure a play-off spot while the Cityzens eye a top eight finish and a place in the round of 16.

Speaking in an interview shared on brfootball via their official TikTok handle, Osimhen proudly talked about the Nigerian food which is his personal favourite to eat. He revealed:
The food that I like most and I think that 60% or 70% of Nigerians also like is Amala. I rememeber, when I was in the U-17, I actually initiated my friend, that is not even a Yoruba person to try it and trust me, that guy, everytime he eats that now, he sends me a snap of it.
Osimhen, who has been urged to move to Manchester United by former Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan, did not reveal the name of the friend but many suspected it could be Fulham’s Samuel Chukwueze, who is currently the closest person to the Galatasaray striker in the Super Eagles squad.

The former Napoli striker went on to hail the RAMS Park stadium as one of the best stadiums he has ever seen or played in. He said:
RAM Park, the best stadium in Turkey and one of the best stadiums in the world. You can’t go there as an opponent and try to come out almost alive, you understand? And I think, if I haven’t gone there before, I would try to argue but considering that I’ve been to a lot of big stadiums and famous stadiums. In terms of atmosphere, none comes close RAMS Park.
