Arsenal’s official X handle shared an interview where Mikel Arteta talked about the match against Liverpool and how his players performed against one of their title rivals. He said:

On paper you play every two or three days, and it’s really tough. And the demands that we have to win every single game, and the opponents that we played. Huge congratulations to the players for what they’ve done in this period; how they maintain the desire and focus throughout this period that you can get very distracted. And you see how tough it is for every team.

Liverpool’s Dominik Szoboszlai hailed Arsenal as an unbelievable team but the Gunners were the ones that escaped defeat on Thursday night as the Reds dominated the second half of the game to keep their 10-game unbeaten run going in all competitions.
