According to Fabrizio Romano via his official X handle, Arteta made Arsenal’s stance clear, stressing the need for readiness as the window approaches. Romano posted:

We will be actively looking to strengthen the squad in January. Depending on the availability of certain players, the window is there, I mean, we’re Arsenal and we have to be looking at it. Our job is to be very prepared because something can happen.

There was also positive news on the injury front for Arsenal fans. Arteta has boosted hopes with an encouraging update on Kai Havertz, who has been sidelined for months. The German forward is now set to return in early January, providing a timely boost as Arsenal look to maintain momentum across competitions.
