He was born on December 25, 1996 in Mar del Plata, Argentina and grew up with a deep love for the game. When he was very young, he engaged in training sessions with Cadetes de San Martín before joining the youth systems of Real Madrid and Getafe in Spain which began his professional journey.

He later made his senior team debut with Getafe’s B team and later moved up to the first team and moved to the first team with his creativity and skill.
He signed with Norwich City in England’s Championship in 2018 which was a big step because he became one of the most valuable players and helped Norwich earn promotion to the Premier League.
He then signed with Aston Villa in 2021 and never stopped showcasing his creativity and skills at the highest level. Earlier in the season, he played a key role in Villa’s comeback win against Tottenham Hotspur, scoring the late goal that helped his side win 2–1 away from home.
He didn’t stop there, however, because he also used one of his late goals to extend his team’s winning run. This was in the Aston Villa clash against Arsenal where Buendía scored a dramatic last minute winner and secured a 2–1 victory with a goal deep into stoppage time.
This performance not only became widely talked about, it extended Aston Villa’s winning run to seven consecutive victories, taking the team closer to the top of the Premier League table.
