Real Madrid manager Xabi Alonso has delivered some much-needed good news to the club’s supporters, confirming that Franco Mastantuono, Antonio Rüdiger, and Éder Militão have all returned to full training and are available for selection again.
Softfootball understands that with the season heading into a demanding stretch, the timing really couldn’t be better, as Real Madrid will welcome any form of help they can get, as they have not been consistent with the results.
They narrowly escaped Greece with a 3-4 victory against Olympiacos, and before that, they hadn’t won in three games, and the 1-nil defeat against fellow struggling giants Liverpool further added salt to the injury.

As revealed by sports expert Fabrizio Romano via his official X account, Alonso revealed that Mastantuono is finally training without any pain, which marks an important breakthrough for the 18-year-old midfielder.
Fabrizio Posted:
Xabi Alonso: Mastantuono is now finally training without any pain.
He’s training without discomfort or pain, and he’s training at that pace. We decided to stop because he was playing through pain, but he’s recovered now.
Fabrizio also reported Xabi’s comment on Rudiger and Militao via his official X handle.
He posted:

The young Argentine had been dealing with persistent discomfort that affected both pre-season and his early-season minutes.
Mastantuono’s return offers a welcome boost in an area of the pitch that has been under a bit of pressure since. His energy, creativity, and ability to control tempo could become key in upcoming rotations, especially with fixtures beginning to pile up.

The defensive department also receives a major lift. Both Rüdiger and Militão, crucial pillars in Real Madrid’s backline, have fully recovered from their injuries and are back with the main group. Their return couldn’t come at a better moment, as the LaLiga title race begins to take shape and the Champions League group stage edges toward its decisive matches.
With all three players now fit, Alonso suddenly has more tactical flexibility than he’s enjoyed in weeks. The squad looks stronger, deeper, and more balanced heading into a packed festive schedule.
