The French Ligue 1 match against Lyon where they dominated 3-2 is just another clear evidence of the club’s control over football in France for years.

But Le Havre are not weak either because they haven’t been defeated in four straight Ligue 1 outings and their defence was so tight that they conceded just one goal in each of those games which had earned them three clean sheets.

These records make them confident enough to head into this match with PSG. Paris Saint Germain confirmed this scheduled match on their official X handle:

In Paris, Le Havre has found it difficult to win their matches against PSG in recent years which shows PSG’s upper hand. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is one skilled PSG winger that Le Havre’s need to be careful about because he could cause problems for their defense.

Issa Soumaré is a player from Le Havre who has maintained a strong form and is dangerous in attack and PSG should keep their eye out for him.

In a pre match interview which was shared in the club’s official X handle, Paris Saint Germain manager, Luis Enrique about his team’s overall fitness and preparation for the match.

The coach emphasized on how important winning the match was, he said, Given the circumstances, winning is the most important thing.

We’re aware of the expectations that are placed on us, but to be at our best, we need every player. We’re moving forward, and winning is what matters the most right now.

Enrique talked about the past performance of their opponent, Le Havre,

They’re not struggling; they’re 12th in the table. I remember it being really tough to face them last season. This will be the first game after an international break, and these games are always different because it’s easy for the players to be slightly less focused, but it’ll be important to win tomorrow.

The coach also talked about Achraf Hakimi, praising him for his exceptional skills. He said,

I think that he’s played to a very high standard. This is my third year here, and he’s been great both in defence and in attack. He isn’t just a defender; he does everything well. That’s good for him, and he needs to keep it up, but what matters is to be important for the team. Every player knows that.
